AI Use Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026 · Last Updated: April 27, 2026
We use AI tools to help run our business more efficiently. We are transparent about where and how — and we never share identifiable client data with AI systems without your knowledge.
How We Use AI
Captured Celebrations uses AI-powered tools to support internal business operations, including:
- Communications drafting — AI assists in drafting quote responses, follow-up emails, and client communications. All outgoing messages are reviewed and sent by a human before delivery.
- Content creation — Website copy, social media captions, and marketing materials may be created or refined with AI assistance.
- Scheduling and logistics — AI tools help us organize event timelines, equipment checklists, and operational planning.
- Photography and image editing — Some post-processing of event photos may use AI-powered editing tools for colour correction, background enhancement, or print optimization.
What We Do NOT Use AI For
- Automated decision-making that affects your booking or pricing without human review
- Facial recognition or biometric identification of event guests
- Selling or sharing your data with AI training datasets
- Generating fake reviews or testimonials
Your Data and AI
When AI tools are used to assist with communications, we take the following precautions:
- We use enterprise-tier AI services that do not train on customer data by default (including Anthropic Claude and similar providers).
- We do not input sensitive personal information (payment details, health information, government ID) into AI tools.
- Inquiry and booking data stays within our primary business systems (Formspree, Check Cherry) and is not routinely shared with AI platforms.
AI-Generated Content Disclosure
Some content on this website — including sections of descriptive copy and FAQ responses — was drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a human for accuracy and brand alignment. We stand behind all content published on this site regardless of how it was drafted.
Event photos and videos captured at your event are not AI-generated. All booth content is real, captured live at your event.
Canadian AI Governance Context
Canada's proposed Artificial Intelligence and Data Act (AIDA, part of Bill C-27) is currently progressing through Parliament. We are monitoring this legislation and will update our practices to comply with any requirements that come into force. Our current AI use is limited to low-risk administrative and creative tasks and does not constitute a "high-impact AI system" as defined in current guidance from the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat.
